A road trip through Central Australia offers an unforgettable journey through some o the most iconic and breathtaking landscapes in the country. Here is our 2 weeks itinerary from Adelaide to Darwin
Day 1. Adelaide to Melrose ( Appox 400 km) :on the way there we stopped in Barossa valley for wine tasting at Seppelt winery and drove to Flinders Range for a beautiful sunset. Slept at local Pub with rustic ambiance
Day 2. Melrose to Wilpena Pound : ( Approx 150 km) hiked at Slot canyon with majestic views and arrived earlier to Wilpena to enjoy couple iconic trails
Day 3. Wilpena Pound to Coober Pedy: ( Approx 700 km ) arrived late in the evening and were able to enjoy and explore underground international hotel where we spent the night, very next morning visited Opal mine and shopped for opals for family and friends. Played golf at the local Golf club with twist. Also stopped at the only one underground Church
Day 4. Coober Pedy to : ( Approx 500 km ) spent the night there just to get closer to Uluru and started our drive early morning
Day 5. Johnston to Uluru: ( Approx 400 km) started hiking iconic trails and of Uluru and Kata Juta, visited very informative aboriginal museum ( no pictures allowed in the museum ) Stayed the night hotel with light show and live music at the bar. Returned to Uluru for magnificent sunset along with other hundreds of people
Day 6. Yaluru to
